There are 3 possible endings in the GB version of Medarot 1, which depend on your choices/actions in the game. You can either end up with Kirara, Nae, or nobody (in which case the chick seller gives you an item).
Requirements[edit]
To get Kirara's ending: |
---|
|
To get Nae's ending: |
|
You get the chick seller ending if you fail the requirements for the other two.
Ending choice[edit]
After you defeat Beast Master, you meet Kirara on the beach. If you meet the requirements for either girl's ending, you'll have the option to answer yes/no.
If you say yes to Kirara, you'll get her ending, but if you say no and don't meet the requirements for Nae's, you'll get the chick seller ending. If you met the requirements for Nae's ending and say no, you'll be able to meet Nae at the observatory afterwards and get her ending.
If you get the chick seller ending, he'll meet you on the beach and give you a Baby Chick as an item (which does nothing).
Rewards[edit]
If you got Kirara's ending, head to school and talk to her. Say yes, then go home, where you'll meet her and exchange your Star Piece for a full Pinguen set.
If you get Nae's ending, head to the Medarot Laboratory and talk to her. Say yes, then go home, where you'll meet her and exchange your Star Piece for a full Acehorn set.
Afterwards, if you use the Periscope to enter the dam between the Mountain Village and Mountainside areas, you'll have a chance to obtain a Medal. The Medal you obtain depends on the version and which ending you got: If you got Kirara's ending, you'll receive the Devil Medal (Kabuto) or the Dragon Medal (Kuwagata). If you got Nae's ending, you'll receive the Angel Medal (Kabuto) or Ninja Medal (Kuwagata). If you got the chick seller ending, you won't get anything.
All 4 possible Medals must be owned (via winning link battles) in order to get the ? Medal, which requires you to have all other Medals.
