::Thanks. :D (I hope you don't mind me indenting your replies.)
::That's pretty interesting, especially since I had no clue what the MedaNet Board actually did. XD But yeah, I think it's best just to say that the sprites are from the app, since it's still possible that they rearranged a few pixels and it wasn't very noticeable (like with the M3/M4 sprites on the wiki, where I originally thought they were identical between games but they actually all have minor differences).
::The Medarotches show up fairly regularly on Yahoo Japan Auctions, but they're in the $100 range and not really guaranteed to work... A user on the PRB forum managed to pick up a couple of them a few years back and posted some videos (topic here), but they haven't been around in quite a while and we never figured out a lot of the details. :/ I think it'd be worthwhile to make a wiki page for it (and the app) even if it only has a little bit of information, though. ~ Kimbles 18:34, 29 May 2015 (MDT)
:::By judging of the ghosting on the black ones LCD in the video, the people that designed it never bothered include a LCD driver chip or bothered code that function in by themselves. (If you leave an LCD biased for too long, the liquid crystal will permanently twist and you won’t be able to twist it back. It is like the crick in your neck that you get from sitting in front of the computer too long.)
:::Anyhow, long story short, it seem like it don't reverse the polarity on the LCD often enough on all screen modes to prevent the crystal molecules from permanently freezing in place.
:::The app itself is probably more easy to use than the rotches for people without documentation/user guide, considering the buttons wont change function when you have it in full screen mode, so is very straightforward to use even if you don't understand a thing of the moon-runes. I might make a page for how to use it at some point, but really depends on how many would want/need it. ╮(─▽─)╭
:::On another note, i just checked my app progress, and i got 74/74 of all set parts, so means i ripped all set sprites that i can for the moment, so thats a accomplishment at least. (・∀・ )
::::Also i want to correct myself regarding the MedaNetBoard being programmable, as i hastely assumed it was/is due to the more advanced input options to the users disposal, but it could be wrong, and it might just have some calculator functions built in or something. But what seem to vary the medarotch models apart seem to be the amount of bot sets they have stored and what medals they can read by judging of this blogpost: So in other words, sorry for being mildly misinformed and spouting crap. Dang, that Metabee model you uploaded looks really good. XD How did you get it? Also, do you think you could try facing it at an angle like in these pics? I think it tends to show the shape of the model better than the front pictures. ~ Kimbles 13:57, 5 June 2015 (MDT)
:I got good news for you, i ripped all 70 bots, so I'm preparing them all for upload, and i made their backgrounds transparent to. I ripped them using DeSmuME X432R, a fork of DeSmuME that allows you to render stuff beyond the 256 × 192 screen resolution. http://shikaver01.webcrow.jp/
:I will make 2 massive batches of uploads, 1 from the bot select screen (still working on it) and this one from gallery mode, that way Medarots like ELF01-M will have all their stuff easy to see (in the way you wanted it), while the front mode will be a good indication how massive it is and how it don't even fit on screen in the gallery. It doesn't work for me anymore (for some stupid reason), but if you want to try it just check this link out.

:Download links work for me, if you mean you can't get textures to display correctly when you open the blender files, you can always unzip all the models and textures in this place on your computer: "C:\Users\LinkWolfen\Documents" (Yes, make a folder for LinkWolfen, as well as a Documents" folder to.)
:So lets say you unzip the "GameCube - Medabots Infinity - Rubberobo.zip" there, then you should have the path "C:\Users\LinkWolfen\Documents\Rubberobo\Rubberobo". And by having it unzipped this way the blender files will be able to find the textures automatically. (Its due to how the LinkWolfen guy made them point to that exact location rather than simply just the current directory the blender file is in using the .\ path.)
:Hope they now will work fine for you out of the box, and thank you. (^▽^)
:Also, how do i time-stamp my User talk edits by command? (Or do all simply just enter the time/date manually?)

Medarotch sprites[edit]
Wow, thanks for uploading these! I take it they're ripped straight from the app? Any clue how many Medarots are in it total? (I don't have a smartphone so I haven't been able to check it out myself.)
I haven't messed with a real Medarotch toy either (and we're probably not likely to find many people who have), but I wonder if it's really safe to assume that the sprites are identical... It might be better just to say that they're from the Medarotch mobile app until we can confirm. ._.;
Either way, it's good to have you! :D ~ Kimbles 16:13, 29 May 2015 (MDT)
- I got a total of 74 Medarotch rips so far, I am not entirely sure what current max is, as the game data store each individual part as its own .png file (meaning its hell to go through.), so i ripped them directly from my phone using screen capture. (Quickmemo+ on my rooted LG G3 Phone.)
- And I'm pretty sure they are identical from the photos i found online of them in action, but i believe the devices themselves came with smaller amount of bot sprite sets included, as it seem like some are advertised to be in "32 Bot Series". But it might be because they cheaped out on the microcontroller's in early production runs to save manufacturing cost, but that is just speculation on my end. (microcontroller's are more all inclusive than a microprocessor, with all the elements it needs to operate included in one piece of silicon, typically making them a little (but not much) more specialized. The microprocessor by contrast needs external memory and interface devices to operate, thus costs more component vise usually.)
- I'd love to have a Medaroach to play with, as old consumer electronic amuses me, but they are pretty hard to come by from what i can tell (or at least in good condition). They seem to be very well made (if they are much like the app), and seem like great novelty items.
- Hopefully someone who got one (or a few) can make a wiki article about it, as it would be pretty cool, especially when there are some programmable sub lines like the MedaNetBoard ones, where you can program in your Medarot's sprites into medals by yourself..
- Anyhow, are you sure you want me to refer to them only being in the app? Considering you should try image search "Medanetboard"/"Medarotch" and "メダロッチ" and you an see they seem pretty 1 v 1 accurate to me.
