Beast Master (ビーストマスター), known in English as Robo-Emperor, is a weapon-type Medarot from the original Medarot game.
Description[edit]
Beast Master's type is weapon, and its design is based to make it look like full of weapons. Its Death Blast part allows it to shoot a big Press attack, heightening an enemy's gravity to crush it under its own weight. Its Death Bomb shoots many Napalms at once and its Death Beam shoots a powerful Beam. However, its slow charge/cooldown times make it rather vulnerable to attacks if not supported by other Medarots.
While not based on an animal, Beast Master's body and name is invocative of a lion, the king of beasts. Its torso resembles a lion's face, with the red details being the eyes, the shoulders the ears, and the attachments on the back the mane.
On the other hand, some features of this Medarot are unique compared to other Medarots and seems strongly inspired by the EVA-01 from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, especially its teeth, chin and the purple-green pallet. This is more evident in the manga, in as scene where he enters in berserk mode and starts to 'eat' a Belzelga, as EVA-01 did in the anime, provoking in Kirara a similar reaction of astonishment as the one Misato Katsuragi presented in Evangelion. As additional evidence, when Beast Master prototype us presented unmasked, his features are similar to EVA-01 without his armor. Eventually, Medarot and Evangelion set a partnetship together for the game Medarot S.
In the games[edit]
Beast master is a multi-legged Medarot equipped with Press, Napalm, and Beam attacks. It serves as the final boss in Medarot 1.
The most potent defenses against Beast Master's weapons are via attack-canceling parts, specifically Negate Explosive, Negate Gravity, and Negate Optical. Just remember that you still need attacking parts (or damage-dealing Medaforces) to break a potential stalemate. In the other hand, you can equip Negate Explosive, Negate Optical parts and a protect part on the leader while another Medabot has a part to steal head uses from all of them, this will make Beast Master unable to damage your Medabots by using Break attacks.
In Medarot 1[edit]
It is the final boss after robattling Typhoon's true identity. Surprisingly it can be purchased at the import store in the World Tournament area for 10,000 yen per part (The Perfect Edition makes this Medarot a postgame random encounter.).
In Medarot Perfect Edition, to get more Beast Master parts, you must beat the game once, and go back to the Select Force HQ. Beast Master is a rare random encounter in the area.

In Medarot 7[edit]
Its model number is now WEA00.
In the anime[edit]
Its Death Bomb part was bought by Iwanoi during the first episode, and soon after it was stolen by The Rockers to equip it to one of their Blackmails.
Its Death Beam part was used by Kikuhime's Peppercat but she couldn't use it due to the weight of the Decoy Crab. As a result, she lost to Escarloader.
Later, the whole Medarot was used by Sakekasu. It was described by Dr. Akihabara as a prototype that was deemed too powerful for mass production, so all subsequent Medarots of the same name had to be toned down. This was confirmed when it caused much destruction, and both Metabee and Rokusho battled against it. Ikki lent Rokusho his Fencing part during the battle. It appeared again when Dr. Aki reveals Beast Master outside the lab. Karin took him and placed Saintnurse's Mermaid Medal on him. She disguised herself as a Roborobo and placed a doll of herself on Beast Master.
In Episode 51, Dr. Hebereke's clones have Death Bomb and Death Beam in their arms.
In the manga[edit]
