Di-Tyranno (ディティラノ) is a tyrannosaur-type Medarot that only appears in Medarot Navi. It is based on a tyrannosauroid, that most popular family of carnivorous dinosaurs. It has no Medarotter.

Description[edit]

Di-Tyranno is focused on nimble attack. Its Head part carries the passive Super Sense ability while both of its Arm parts will Transform into Speed attack parts each turn. Its Leg part is Two-Legged.

By bringing its tail forward and resting on the "wheels" on its forearms and upper legs, Di-Tyranno can Medachange into a battering ram. In this form its sole attack is Drive A, a Shock attack to knock back enemies; both Drives B and C are Booster abilities to increase its damage (at the cost of higher AP requirements for movement).

In the game[edit]

In Medarot Navi[edit]

Di-Tyranno is the fourth of five Fossil Medrots faced in the final chapter of the game. It is first fought by the Space Robo general, Kirika, who is beaten and trapped under a metal cage before it faces Kasumi's party. It leads two Pupa Beetles and two Pupa Stags into battle.

The "Di" in its name is part of a theme with its fellow Fossil Medarots: Mono-Cruziana, Tri-Ptera, Quar-Brachio and Zero-Suicide. It is also the basis for Zero-Suicide's Right Arm part, in which its ram form becomes a Sword attack.

In addition, Di-Tyranno, Tri-Ptera and Quar-Brachio may reference the Select Corps' Attack-Tyranno, Air-Ptera and Land-Brachio, respectively.
