The Kabuto Medal is a Medal found throughout the Medarot franchise.

Kabuto Medals specialize in fast, simple shooting attacks, giving them a wide variety of compatible parts to choose from. They are especially effective when used with the KBT Series Medarots, and are usually the first Medal obtained in the Kabuto versions of the games.

In earlier games, its letter is B in every game it appears in, and its design is that of a rhinoceros beetle (or kabutomushi). As it gains experience, the picture on a Kabuto Medal changes from a beetle larva to a pupa, and then a full-grown rhinoceros beetle. In some games, it also has an extra high-level 4th or 5th stage where it turns into a top-down view of the beetle's horns (pictured right).

The Kabuto Medal's direct counterpart is the Kuwagata Medal, which takes its place in the Kuwagata version games. Though many of their stages appear similar, the image on a Kabuto Medal usually faces left, while the Kuwagata Medal faces right.
