Searchrat (サーチラット), known in English as Jorat, is a rat-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description[edit]
Searchrat is a small Medarot that resembles a cartoon rat or mouse, with large round ears that it uses as sensors. It floats through the air with its long tail trailing behind it, and has two small grappling hooks in the place of feet. Its tail also has a grey block on the end with two red buttons on it to resemble a computer mouse. True to its name, Searchrat is a support-oriented Medarot that specializes in reconnaissance and tracking the locations of its opponents.
In the Medarotter Rintarou manga, Searchrat appears with a slightly different design, different coloration, and an even smaller size (small enough to sit on a person's shoulder). This verson of the design was reused when it appeared again in Medarot Navi.
In the games[edit]
Searchrat is a hover-type Medarot that specializes in using Scan actions to increase the team's success rate. In Medarot 2, R, and 2 Core, its parts have the Scan attribute, making it an obvious choice for use with the Mouse Medal.
