Aqua Crown (アクアクラウン), spelled Aquacrown in English releases, is a undine-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description[edit]
Aqua Crown is the water-themed Medarot of the four "Elemental Series" Medarots. Its design is based on an undine, or water spirit. Its design resembles a fish, with a fish head "hood" and flipper-like arms. It fills a support role, using transforming parts to repair or power-up its allies.
Its part names all begin with "migawari" (みがわり), which translates to "substitute" or "scapegoat" while also being a play on the Japanese words for water (mizu) and change (kawari).
Like the other Elemental Series Medarots, the last part of its name (the "un" in kuraun/crown) comes from what it was based on (an undine). The W in its WDN model number may come from the Japanese letter "u" sometimes being romanized as "wu".
In the games[edit]
In Medarot 2/Core[edit]
Aqua Crown is the support member of the elemental four. It uses parts ranging from healing to time based abilities. Its leg parts, while making it weak to Anti-Sea, also make it very evasive. In both the original Medarot 2, and the Core remake, it is exclusive to the Kabuto version, obtained from Nae when she lets you take an elemental in various points during the game. In the Kuwagata version, it is replaced by Windsail.
In Medarot R[edit]
Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting コンパニオン that is ranked opponent number 24.
