In episode 17 (11 in the English dub), DeathPhoenix appears when the Phantom Retort steals a Medal in the Medarot Museum. Later, in episode 39 (26 in the English dub), Ikki equips the Crimson Tail leg part on Metabee and goes to the city where Giant Emperor is attacking.
