Damerots (ダメロット Damerotto, lit. an anagram of "Medarot" meaning "Useless-rot") are counterfeit Medarots featured in Medarot 1. They are implied to be useless, but for whatever reason have started to climb in value. Trashed Damerots parts are strewn throughout the junkyard near the Observatory.
A Damerot can be collected during the RoboRobo Gang assault on the Select Headquarters. If Hikaru goes back to the Downtown are and tries to enter its Mini-super, Kawamura appears to challenge him to a Robattle. If Hikaru answers "Yes" to his question, Kawamura gets cold feets and runs away, leaving behind his Damerot. Though it has no use on its own, the Damerot can be sold to the woman in the Mini-super of the Stadium after the main story is completed, for 20000¥.
In subsequent installments and in other media, the term is sometimes used as a pejorative, usually to insult unskilled Medarots. For example, in the Medarotter Rintarou! manga, the Medarot Club is often called the "Damerot Club".
