The Screwy were playing in the abandoned lot beehind the school with Goringo, the new medarot, until a strange man who looked like a [[Red Mako|pirate]] appeared, scaring off the Screws and stealing their medarot.

Ikki goes to the abandoned lot and finds Kouji and Smilodonad,who were looking for Red Mako, but didnt find him, Ikki goes to Medaropolis Park, with Metabee in tow. They don't find him there either, but they run into Arika. They go to Lucky Town to find the shopkeep and ask her for the part. The old woman otherwise known as Grandma Kameya, evades all their questions and annoys Ikki and Metabee to the point where they leave.
