The Parts Collection games were a series of "power-up" side games that were released alongside the main Medarot series games between 1998 and 2000. They included simplified scenarios with a large number of NPC battles, and generally provided a much easier method of collecting the Medarot parts available in their associated game. The parts could then be traded or transfered to one's main game.

There were 5 Parts Collection games in total: Two released for Medarot 1 (GB), one released for Medarot 2 (GB/GBC), one for Medarot 3 (GBC), and one for Medarot R (PS1).

Also known simply as "Medarot Parts Collection". This game features Paddy, a girl introduced in Medarot 1, as the player character. She begins with a the parts for Betty Bear and Rollstar along with the Bear and Tortoise Medals, and has to battle her way through a series of towers of a castle in a fantasy world inside her dream in order to rescue her "prince" Yuuki. In this game, every Medabot's battle sprite is changed to their owner's sprite.

This game is almost identical to the first Medarot Part Collection, but features Yuuki as the player character, playing a video game where he is the prince of a fantasy world that has to rescue his "princess" Paddy. Like in the previous game, the player starts with the parts and Medals for Rollstar and Betty Bear.

This game features Ikki as the player character. The story is thus: An old man gets Fuyun Stone from some aliens, but the old man farts and said stone falls from his hands. The stone breaks, and the Rubberrobo Gang gets its parts. Now Ikki, who is abducted in the alien ship, must recover every piece of the Fuyun Stone. Ikki can start either with Warbandit or Smilodonad as his first Medarot, and must battle his way through the alien ship.

This game again features Ikki, who must chase some guys by battling his way through several villages. Said villages contain a link store and a 24 Hop Mart, where the player can buy Tinpets, Medalias, Medals and complete Medarot part sets. Each village contains 6 houses and a central house, which is the village's boss. Each house contains a Medarotter and all of them must be defeated before facing the boss. Ikki, this time, begins with either Saikachis and Dorcus or Blackbeetle and Blackstag as his Medarots.

Medarot R Parts Collection[edit]

This was the first and last Parts Collection game released for console, and differs from the other Parts Collections by being completely menu-based with no overworld. The goal is to battle through a list of 100 different opponents to become the top ranked Medarotter, winning points in the process that allow you to purchase exclusive Medarot sets. Unlike the Game Boy Parts Collection games, this one simply reads the Medarot R save file present on your Playstation memory card, allowing you to use the same team as in your main game from the start. Rather than having to trade your parts over, the game simply overwrites your Medarot R save file to include the parts you obtained. This game is also compatible with the Playstation's "Pocketstation" peripheral, and includes a Pocketstation minigame called Pocket Robottle.
