Taruto Benii, often referred to as Taruto, is a major character in Medarot DS and Medarot 7. He is one of Azuma's friends, being a bit cowardly in contrast to Azuma's recklessness and is often the voice of reason for the group, and he knows a lot about Medarot, having a simillar role as Iwanoi in Medarot 2/2 CORE.

Chapter 1[edit]
Taruto appears trying to warn Azuma about The Willows as they beat up Docto and defeated Chitose and Noire, but Azuma complains about Taruto's long explainations.
Taruto watches the fight after that, even commenting on the fact that Metabee is still using his starter parts.
Chapter 2[edit]
Three months after Azuma's victory against the Willows, Taruto, Azuma and Chitose are at the shop browsing parts. while Chitose explains the basics of part selection to Azuma, Taruto buys him Maasai Laibon's Right Arm 'Rungu'.
Taruto tries to help out during a fight, but Docto is defeated easily. He as well as Chitose gawk at Kohaku Himuro and Rokusho, going as far as to call them 'cool'.
Later during the clash with the Roborobo gang that R. Arm Part ends up being useful as it did heavy damage to Chuugen Haoh, allowing Rokusho to finish him off.
